If only I could see you for just one more time.
There are so many things that I would say.
I would tell you how great a person you are.
I would tell you how much I love you.
I have always been very proud of you.
I would tell you how special you really are.
I should have conveyed that to you more often.

It seems like you were taken too early from us.
I still cannot figure out why you had to leave.
Your scent is slowly fading from your bedroom,
But it is etched in my memory forever.
I have surrounded myself with pictures of you.
Each one shows one of your many personalities.

In time the pain will lesson slightly
But my love for you will still grow.
The house seems so empty without you.
Friends have stopped coming by checking on us.
The pain is really starting to hit more now
We cannot go back to the way things were
Because things are completely different now
